SAM at York United FC – May 10th, 2024!

This is our school’s opportunity to watch a Canadian Premiere League soccer game with unprecedented access to the game and players.  This year SAM students will have the opportunity to be part of the game like never before.

Students under the age of 10 years will have the opportunity to walk the players out onto the field or present the Canadian flag during opening ceremonies!

Students aged 10 and older will have the opportunity to be ball kids (throw the ball back onto the field when it is out of play) during the game!

These opportunities for SAM students are limited in number and available to students who purchase their game tickets by April 26th, 2024.   If there are more students who want to be part of the action then we have opportunities, students will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.  Those participating in opening ceremonies or as ball kids will be required to be at the stadium at 5:30pm where they will rehearse and be treated to pizza by the team.  Don’t delay and get your tickets early if you want your child/ren to be part of this exciting opportunity!!

Along with these exciting opportunities our families will be invited on field during warm up along with player meet and greet and autograph opportunities after the game.

This is sure to be a memorable evening for all, especially soccer fans.  Don’t miss out on your child/ren’s opportunity to be part of the game and this incredible event!

**York Lions Stadium Parking – Parking is available at a number of different lots near York Lions Stadium, daily rates apply.  Available lots include: Thompson Road Lot, Founders Road East Visitor Lot  or Arboretum Lane Parking Garage.  Parking can be paid via metered parking (where available) or by downloading the Honk mobile app.
