We will be holding our annual Terry Fox Run at school Tuesday, September 27th. All students from kindergarten to grade 8 will be participating in a short walk around the school neighborhood. All students are encouraged to wear red and white to show our Canadian spirit for this great hero. Please review the forecast for the day and ensure your child is sent to school appropriately dressed for the walk.
Many people have a connection to someone who has cancer so the run can serve as a personal dedication to a friend or relative, as well as necessary fundraising. Our school Terry Fox Challenge is to raise a ‘Toonie for Terry’ from each student. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated by the Terry Fox Foundation.
