We welcome May, the month in which we celebrate our loving Mother Mary. Of course, we also take the opportunity this month to celebrate all of the important women in our lives, and our mothers in particular. On Mother’s Day, we recognize the blessings of all the supportive women who have touched our lives. We ask and pray that God may watch over them all with His Grace.
In May, we also celebrate Catholic Education. It is important to recognize the great gift that is Catholic education, and the fact that we can freely celebrate all the tenets of our faith within our school community. First Holy Communion has just been celebrated and the grade 7 students will soon be partaking in the rite of Confirmation. We must never take for granted the faith life that is evident in our daily school interactions.
