Every year at at this time, the St. Angela Merici school community comes together to help those less fortunate. This year we will be conducting three drives, simultaneously:
Food Drive: Every year we collect non-perishable food items for the Vaughan Food Bank which supports many families in the Woodbridge area.
Hat and Mitt Drive: We will be collecting new hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves which will also be collected and distributed by the Vaughan Food Bank.
Coats for Kids Drive: Our school will continue the tradition of collecting gently used coats (children and adult sizes) as part of our Coats for Kids campaign. These coats will be cleaned and distributed to the needy.
All three Advent Drives will run from November 20th – December 18th.
As we prepare for Christmas with our families, let us keep in mind families who could use our support. Please give generously to this important community event. “Whenever you did this for one of the least of my brothers, you did it for me,” (Matthew 25:35)
Please note, all non-perishable food items are welcome, but the food items listed on the information sheet to be sent home, are always in short supply.
